Barrier-free library
We offer people with visual impairments an individually adjustable screen reader.
The device is located in Library 3 on level BZ.09 at a work desk.
To operate the device, a wireless remote control is required, which is issued at the circulation desk (BZ.07).
- Grifflenberg Campus: in the departmental library 4 on level 9 (BZ.09.69)
- Campus Haspel: in the immediate vicinity of the library
- Freudenberg Campus: inside the library
Directions to the library from the main entrance of the university:
- Start at the information desk at the main entrance in building G 08.
- Pass the seating area on the left and the glass door, stay left and follow the sign Entrance to Library.
- Follow the corridor along the library, through the next staircase and past lecture halls 3, 2 and 1 to the staircase core P/O/BZ 08.
- Use the lift and go to P/O/BZ 07.
- Choose the passage to building BZ, following the signs Cloakroom and Entrance to Library straight ahead past the lockers and the library cloakroom.
- Pass the first revolving door of the library. Next to the second revolving door there is a bell for barrier-free access to the library.
- BZ.07 - 1 table on the wall to the management wing/at the level of the Central Information Desk
- BZ.07 - 1 table at the column behind the Central Information Desk
- BZ.07 - 2 tables in the rear area by the windows
- BZ.08 / Departmental Library 1 - 1 table in the right-hand area by the windows
- BZ.09 / Departmental Library 4 - 3 tables in the right rear area next to the photocopier
